I've been tagged by my friend Audrey the Awesome Scrapper so instead of tweaking a Power Point presentation for Mondays class on IEP's for children with exceptionalities, I will answer the 5 questions. Coming up with 5 people to tag may take a while.
1. What were you doing 10 years ago? Pretty much the same thing I am doing now: teaching summer classes at the college. I had only lived in my house for a about 4 months so maybe I was doing yard work or other home-ownerly chores.
2. 5 things on today’s To-Do list? 1. Power Point for Monday's class (Chapter 10). 2. Test for the Creative Activities class for Tuesday evening. 3. Grade papers for all 3 classes 4. the only other work related one that is staring at me on the to-do Post-it note is create project folder for the Early Childhood Conference we will be hosting in the Spring. 5. That leaves home chores which are many but at the top is clean out the refrigerator.
3. Snacks I enjoy? most any snack...
4. Things I would do if I were a millionaire? Pay off the mortgage on my little house, and renovate, adding a sun porch and a deck. 2. Send my parents on a trip to Hawaii for their upcoming 50th wedding anniversary 3. get a new car (nothing wrong with the Honda; it's paid for, gets good gas mileage, but why not update?) 4. take a real vacation myself 5. sock it away for retirement (which might come earlier than the 2019 my retirement statement says).
5. Places I have lived? Get comfy... this will be long (Air Force Brat). Born in Goldsboro NC, lived in Goldsboro and Pikeville NC; moved to Fukuoka Japan 1962-1964; Columbus, Mississippi 1964-1969; Omaha, Nebraska (actually La Platte)1969-1972; back to Goldsboro 1972-1973; Ban Chang Thailand 1973-74; back to Goldsboro 1974-1977; Minot, North Dakota 1977-1978; back to Goldsboro 1978-1992. In '92 I moved to Garner to work in Raleigh NC and in 1994 moved back to Goldsboro to teach at the college.
I'll have to think of folks to tag. More on that later.
