Scrapbooking

I managed to do three layouts Saturday at Paper Playground and start a card for a wedding. Will post the wedding card when it is finished.

Neely's Ears

Recheck at the vet today. Still some gunk down deep in her ears. A culture shows that gunk is a yeast infection so we've switched meds.

She has lost another 1/2 an ounce.

Pool Fun

Father's Day is usually a big pool day too. It has been cool at night and in the 70's in the daytime until today when it was 90+, so the water was rather chilly. The kids were the only ones brave enough to get in. Natalie didn't come this year. She was to leave at 2:00 today for camp.

Happy Father's Day

I got Dad a cool remote thermometer to go with the new grill Mom got him.

Tomato Update

Look at all those cherry tomatoes!

The other plants have small tomatoes too.

Ear Update

We returned to the vet today to have Neely's ears checked. They are better, but not well. We have to continue the antibiotic drops in the right ear for 2-3 more days and use 2-3 cc of alcohol only in the left ear for a couple of days then resume the drops in that ear.

Neely had lost a couple of ounces.

Vet Visit

Neely had to go to the vet today. She has had sour smelling ears with drainage for over a week. I had tried cleaning them but was not seeing much improvement. She was due for her annual check up in 2 weeks anyway so we combined the visit to include that and her shots.

The vet said I had done a good job cleaning her ears but there was infection deep in the ear canal. We got some antibiotic drops for the ear infection (bacterial--at least not yeast, which she had once before), a combination shot and the kennel cough vaccine (she hates those nose drops), and an admonition to lose some weight. Neely weighs 13.44 pounds, an all-time high.

We go back in 2 weeks to re-check the ears.
